Dashed off asap to pick up my mum to take her out for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday.... just me and my mum. But its raining, feeling soo cold, mum decided she wanted to eat something at chinatown.... so head to Happy Seasons. Not been since its been re-open.... but tell ya..... nothings changed... one sentence of today's experience..... only going coz mum wants to. As long as my mums happy.... anything i could let it go!!!!
Anyway, we ordered a wonton soup egg noodles & three roast rice, but at the end we only eat the noodles and took the rice as a take-away.
Anyway after food, instead going to have afternoon tea - we went to Wing Yip, so that my mum can buy her grocers, and have a chat with the locals. Mum was happy like a chirpie chick!
So at 4:30pm we went to Midland Hotel for our afternoon tea..... soo good, sitting on the sofa, my mum with a hot chocolate, and i got cream tea with scones..... and just sit there chatting, talking about my childhood stories, abit about my mums childhood..... and not long it was 6pm... time to go home. Such a good way to end a afternoon, and soo happy to see my mum having a good day!
